Here at Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview, we wanted to integrate the best of modern technology into our recent library upgrade. FE Technologies’ RFID system fit the bill, proving to be a superior – and affordable – alternative to traditional electromagnetic barcoding.

Our tailor-made RFID solution assists the Riverina Regional Library to outsource the entire process of selecting, ordering, tagging, barcoding and preparing collection material for the shelves. By integrating the FE Technologies RFID solution, Riverina is setting the benchmark for how libraries will manage shelf-ready collection procurement in the future.

Patronage at Mount Gambier Public Library has increased fourfold in recent months, so efficient and effective technology has been critical in ensuring staff continue to meet customer needs.  Other systems we looked at did not have the accuracy of FE Technologies’ library RFID system and there is no doubt that without our new RFID returns bin and Self Loan Stations we would not have coped with the increased demand. The Frog themed Self Loan Kiosk has also been a big hit with children and adults alike.
